Sometimes, what we need most is understanding.
Sometimes, what we need is to feel seen without being “fixed” or told it’s all going to be okay. We just want others to recognize the road we travel.
We invite you to take a photo of a handwritten note that finishes the sentence, “I wish people knew…”
Email it to Ashley at ashley@pmdalliance.org and PMD Alliance will share it on their social media pages to spread PD awareness that comes from the heart.

Living Your Best Life
You may be reading this book because you or someone in your life recently received a diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease (PD). Perhaps it was not so recently, but you are now reflecting more on what the diagnosis means for you. Everyone’s PD story is different. Many people with PD vividly remember the moment they were diagnosed and view it as the beginning of a journey; a new life path. Often, they think back a few years and recognize subtle symptoms they missed at the time. Courtesy of Parkinsons.org.
