- Davis Phinney Foundation – Explore the Ambassador Program resources to learn more about Parkinson’s basics, exercise, motor symptoms, etc, and make use of the Educational videos.
- Parkinson’s Foundation – Offering the community, resources and advice to support you and your family as you begin to build a better life with Parkinson’s. Check out the M & OC Committee membership, Videos & Studies.
- PMD Alliance – An independent, national nonprofit on a mission to empower people impacted by movement disorders with the tools and meaningful connections they need to thrive today. Including educational seminars, video library, PWP & Care Giver tract.
Regional Programs
- Jax Hope, Inc – from the “First Coast to the Emerald Coast” alliance of 16 support Groups. Provides Support Group resources (funding, transportation, speakers).
- Parkinson’s Pointe – Parkinson’s Pointe is a Colorado based program that provides a community for support and programs that improve the quality of life for people impacted by Parkinson’s disease. Educational events on Fridays.
- Pathfinder Mentoring Program – The Pathfinders Program at Parkinsons Pointe provides those who have been recently diagnosed the opportunity to meet with peers who have been living with Parkinsons and thriving. Through peer support, mentorship and introduction to the Parkinson’s community, we walk with the person as they find their path with Parkinsons.
